Artist Biography – Dean Wydeven
Dean Wydeven is a Wisconsin artist who decided to take early retirement from a career in the corporate design world to focus on his passion for visual arts. He now works in his studio in Appleton, using various mediums such as graphics, painting, drawing, photography, and sculpture to express his creativity.
Dean holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Wisconsin Green Bay and has 33 years of design experience. His exceptional work has been featured in several prominent Wisconsin art galleries and museums, including the Trout Museum of Art in Appleton, the Art Garage in Green Bay, the Miller Art Museum in Sturgeon Bay, the Art Collective in DePere, and the Neville Public Museum in Green Bay. Additionally, he has collaborative pieces on permanent display at the Community First Champion Center and the Fox Cities Convention & Visitor’s Bureau in Appleton.
